This US doctor predicted in 2019 that the next global pandemic will be from Hubei Province in China, what does he know?
因为疫情我已经被困在美国六个⽉了，回国之⽇依旧遥遥⽆期。我很想知道事情将如何发展，我就可以做⼀些什么规划，虽然我明⽩这些计划实现的概率⼩之⼜⼩。我想我只是想让⾃⼰在让⼈抓狂的不确定性⾥寻求⼀丁点的常态感。
Being stuck in the US for 6 months now because of Covid, and with no return date in sight, I have been trying to understand where all this is going and trying to make plans though I know how unlikely it’s going to follow through. I guess I’m just trying to hold on to some sense of normalcy amongst all the maddening uncertainty.

It’s in that effort that I watched Zach Bush.

I’ve followed Zach Bush for a few years now. He is one of the most brilliant minds I have ever listened to. He is one of the very few triple board-certified doctors in the US: internal medicine, endocrinology, and hospice care. He has been researching the symbiotic relationship between humans and our environment and working on regenerating soil health in the US. His brilliance on so many levels and his ability to view things from 30 thousand feet above and connect the dots are nothing new to me. But to say this interview completely blew my mind was an understatement.

Like most people, my news about Covid are mostly from the mainstream media and occasionally from friends. I’ve gone through the same emotions like everybody else: worry, fear, and frustration. I am not sure I should trust either of the governments on the two sides of the pacific ocean. Neither can I trust the media. On one side of the ocean, it’s a propaganda tool, and on the other side, they are jumping on every opportunity of exaggeration because being sensational is their job. I also cannot buy any of the arguments that even remotely smell of conspiracy. But I don’t know who I can believe. What Zach Bush talked about in these two interviews made so much sense to me it completely shifted how I look at covid, flu, the whole human existence and even death.

The following is how I summarized and paraphrased some of his views. But this does not remotely do justice to the substance of what he articulated in the interviews. I’d encourage everybody who understands English to tune in and watch the whole thing. I’ll provide the link at the end of the article.
什么是病毒？
What is a virus?
我们医⽣和科学界在过去100多年的时间犯了⼀个很⼤的归类错误，将病毒和微⽣物放在了⼀起。病毒不是⼀个有⽣命的⽣物体。它们不能⽣产能量，不能繁殖，不能进⻝，不能代谢，病毒没有任何能量转换。它就是⼀个基因信息包，通过空⽓，⽔和⼟壤进⾏传播，⽽且⽆处不在。
We have severely miscategorized viruses as physicians and scientists in the last 100 years by lumping them together with microbiome. A virus is not a living organism. They can't produce energy, they can't reproduce, they can't eat, they can't metabolize anything. There's literally no energetic exchange within a virus. A virus is a package of information at the genetic level that is transferred through the air, water, soil systems, and they are ubiquitous.
新冠病毒存在已经有⼏千年了，有⽂字记载的是740年前。它们可以导致很多常见的感冒症状。
Coronavirus has been with us probably for thousands of years, and was first documented about 740 years ago. They are the causes of many colds we experience.
我们总觉得我们要把病毒消灭我们才能⽣存，可现实完全不是这样⼦。
We think viruses are something we have to kill so we can survive. It cannot be further from the truth.
病毒早于我们存在⾮常⾮常久。没有病毒，我们⼈类也不可能存在。在空⽓⾥有约10的31⽅那么多的病毒（1后⾯31个零，是整个宇宙星星个数的1000万倍), 在海洋⾥有着同样多的病毒，在⼟壤⾥也⼀样。
Viruses predated us massively. We humans would not have existed without them. There are about 10 to 31 (that is 31 zeros after 1, about 10 million times more than the number of stars in the entire universe) viruses in the air, about another 10 to 31 viruses in the ocean, and about the same in the soil.
我们现在知道⼈类超过50%的基因是病毒信息更新的结果。我们在将让我们存在的机制妖魔化。这太危险了。当你的思维如此颠倒，开始攻击造就你的东⻄时，你就是在设计你的⾃我灭亡。
Now we understand that 50% of human genes are result of virus updates. We have demonized the very mechanism by which humans have become real. This is a terrifying mistake, when your paradigm is so reversed as scientists and start to attack the very things that build you, you are now going to engineer your own extinction.

Why are people getting sick and dying?
新冠病毒是整个⽣态系统的⼀个⾃然现象，是⼀个沟通⼯具。它们的⼯作是进⼊⼈的身体，进⾏基因组的更新。绝⼤多数的⼈会没有任何症状，或者轻微症状。但如果身体本身的运⾏被打乱了，那病毒需要做的事情没有办法正常进⾏。
Corona is a natural part of the eco system, a communication network. What these viruses are supposed to do when getting into human system is to update the genome. That’s why the majority of the people with the viruses are asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms. But when the body is not functioning normally, it does not react to the viruses the way they are supposed to.
造成死亡的很多是继发感染和其它和病毒没有关系的状况。
What caused a lot of the mortalities are secondary infections and also conditions that have nothing to do with the virus.
为什么最多的死亡来⾃那些有⼼脏疾病，糖尿病和肾脏病的⼈，⽽不是有肺病的⼈？对于上⾯这三种疾病，最基本的药有两种：⼀个是ACE抑制剂，是降低⾎压的，另⼀个是斯达汀，是降低胆固醇的。这两种药会改变肺部的状况，从⽽过度产⽣对新冠病毒的接收器ACE2。所以这些⼈有更⾼的⻛险。
Why do we see more mortality from people with cardiovascular, diabetes, and kidney diseases, but not really lung disease? The two classic pharmaceutical drugs for these three conditions are ACE inhibitor, which is a blood pressure drug, and stain, which is a cholesterol lowering drug. These drugs change the terrains of the lungs to over-express the ACE2 receptors for coronavirus. So these people taking these drugs are at much higher risk.
年龄也是⼀个⻛险，尤其当你居住在空⽓污染严重的地⽅， 你的肺会出现⼀些和慢性⽀⽓管炎或者肺⽓肿类似的细⼩变化，让你的ACE2接收器过度上调，超出基本⽣物功能的需求。
Age is also a factor. As you age, especially if you are in a high pollution area, you get minor changes within the lung consistent with chronic bronchitis or emphysema that upregulate the ACE2 receptor beyond its normal biologic function.
空⽓和身体内的污染和毒素是造成死亡的很⼤⼀个因素。空⽓⾥的毒素会结集在⼀起，和病毒⼀起输送到⼈体, 导致进⼊⼈体的病毒数量⼤⼤多于正常。
The pollution and toxins in our air and our body are big factors causing mortality. The toxic chemicals in the air clump together and are brought to the body through the virus unintentionally, in bigger amount than normal.
空⽓⾥的PM2.5，是⼀种⼩于2.5纳⽶的碳微粒，会和病毒结集在⼀起。当多于正常量的病毒进⼊⼈的身体，会使免疫系统不堪重负，造成损伤。
This thing called PM2.5, which is a carbon material that is smaller than 2.5 nanometers, bind viruses and cause them to lump. When viruses lump and get into your lungs, they can overwhelm the immune response and cause damages.
理想情况下，当病毒进⼊我们的细胞时，我们不会去复制，⽽是⽤⼀种身体产⽣的酶将这些DNA剪掉，就像剪⼑⼀样。⽽除草剂农达会阻滞这些酶的正常⽣产。在那些⼈⼝密度⾼，农达的浓度⾼的地区，那些用来剪掉病毒DNA的酶的正常基因序列遭到破坏。
Ideally, when the virus get into our cells, we don’t even reproduce them, we just chop up its DNA with our our enzyme，kind of like scissors. We can block the production of the enzyme with the herbicide roundup. When we have high population density with high roundup spray, we can be sure we are poisoning the genetic sequencing that makes the enzyme that clips up the virus’DNA.
为什么感染中心会从湖北⼀下⼦跳到了意⼤利北？意⼤利北是全欧洲农达使⽤率最⾼的地区，是意⼤利中部和南部的30倍。
Why did the epicenter jump from Hubei to Italy? Northern Italy has the highest density of round up spray in the soil system in the whole Europe. It is 30x the amount used in Central and Southern Italy.
纽约是美国PM2.5最⾼的都市区，⼈⼝密度⾼，再加上从新泽⻄来的毒⽓污染，尤其是能源产业产⽣的毒⽓。
New York has the highest PM2.5 in the US, high concentration of population, and toxicity from new jersey too, especially from the energy sector.
另外⼀个造成⾼死亡率的是氰化物，也是能源产业产⽣的毒⽓。其实，在2019年5⽉份，⼀个叫做“正义地球“的⾮盈利组织就状告美国政Fu，说他们没有及时警告公⺠，很多美国⼤城市有过⾼的氰化物。
The other toxin that caused a lot of morality is cyanide, a common pollution from energy sector. Actually, Earth Justice, a non-profit organization, sued US government in May 2019 for failing to warn citizens the abnormal high amount of cyanide in many big cities in the US.
当过多的氰化物进⼊身体，⼈体红细胞会受损，失去运输氧⽓的能⼒，造成⼀种叫做”组织毒性缺氧“的状况，和新冠病毒的症状⾮常相似。
When cyanide enters the body in abnormal amount, it poisons the red blood cells, so the cells cannot carry oxygen. This created something called “Histotoxic Hypoxia”, presenting same symptoms as what covid presents.
组织毒性缺氧还会让⾎液发⽣很多变化，使其易于凝结，尤其是微⾎管。所以为什么我们被告知新冠会导致微型⾎块凝结。
Hypoxia also induces broad spectrum change in the blood stream, making it prone to blood clots, especially micro blood vessels. That’s why we were told covid-19 causes micro blood clots.
纽约有5700名病⼈的信息被公开。你可以看到，这些⼈的平均温度是正常的，没有发烧，⽩细胞正常，淋巴部位正常，⼤部分⼈没有任何感染迹象。他们其实是缺氧中毒。两三天之后，他们的肺会开始积⽔，因为缺氧的缘故，然后就会有继发感染。
Data of 5700 patients who were admitted to New York hospitals were published. The average temperature was normal, no fever, white blood cells were normal, lymph sites were normal. Majority of these people are not infected. What they have is hypoxia. 2 to 3 days later, lungs start to fill with fluid, as a result of lack of oxygen, then they will get secondary infections.
其实很多⼈的死亡并不是病毒导致，是下游的并发症，包括细菌感染和缺氧损伤。⽽氰化物中毒本身是⽐较容易治疗的，只需要⼀个10美元的可以⾃⼰操作的注射包。
So a lot of people did not die from virus, they died from downstream secondary complications, including bacteria infections from the hypoxia injury. When in fact cyanide treatment is a very easy fix with a 10 dollar packet of self-administered injections.
⼀名中国医⽣的⽂章显示了2002年的⾮典有⼀样的情况：病⼈发⻘，这是缺氧的典型症状，然后等他们肺部有了积⽔，就会因为继发感染⽽死亡。
A paper from a Chinese doctor describing exactly the same as what was happening with SARS in 2002: patients were showing up blue, a classic sign of hypoxia, and would sit and wait till their lungs filled with fluid, and then got secondary pneumonia, and died.

Instead, we put them on ventilators. Ventilators don’t work for hypoxia, no amount of oxygen will work, because the red blood cells cannot carry oxygen. NY hospitals reached 88% mortality rate at one time, not because the virus is killing us, because our management of the symptoms.
战⽃在⼀线的专业⼈员没有办法做出正确的决定，因为我们整个思维错位了，他们根本就没有正确的信息。
The front line professionals cannot make the right decisions because our whole paradigm about this has been wrong and they do not have the right information.
整个死亡率也是有误导的。过去七年的死亡率曲线稍有上扬，如果你将年龄因素考虑进去，其实刚好处在正常。婴⼉潮的原因，美国⼈⼝当前⽼化严重。加上2018年，2019年，我们的死亡率极其低，所以和去年⽐，你会看到⼤幅上升。
The official mortality rate itself is skewed. The death rate of the last 7 year trend is slightly going up, but it’s actually spot-on if you age adjust it. US has an aging population as a result of the baby boom. We had a very low mortality in 2018 and 2019, that’s also why you see a big jump than last year.
你怎么知道疫情将源⾃湖北？
How did you know it would come from Hubei?
湖北是全世界喷洒草⽢膦（农达除草剂的成分）浓度最⾼的地区，也是世界上在猪⾁⽣产中⽤抗⽣素最⾼的地区。所以湖北有世界上最强烈的抗菌活性。再加上极⾼的PM2.5， 因为很多北⽅的空⽓污染因为从北到南的⽓压⽽被输送到了湖北。
Hubei Province is the overlap between the highest spraying in the world of glyphosate (roundup) in concentration, as well as the highest antibiotic usage in pork production. And so, we have the most intense anti-microbial activity on the planet happening in Hubei. Coupled with the highest PM 2.5 in the world, as the pollution in North China pushes south from that city, it pushes right down into Hubei Province with the air pressure coming down from the north.
这种情况下，⽣物体处在⼀个绝望的⽣存模式中，为了逃避毒素，为了不消亡，会试图以各种⽅式寻找另类⽣存途径。所以多细胞⽣物和细菌都会有⼀个超活跃的适应性反应，⽣产⼤量的病毒，都是为了适应环境。
When you have a situation like that, biology is in survival mode trying to find alternative biological pathways to avoid toxicity, to not go extinct. We get this adaptation response from the genomics of both multicellular organisms, as well as bacteria and the like, and they're producing massive amounts of virus looking for adaptation advantages into the environment.

Then it binds to PM 2.5 and creates too much viral clumping in a very small particulate space. And then, that population has this lung that's going to absorb not just one virus, but could absorb dozens of viruses tied to one receptor into that body, into that single cell, and induce an overwhelm to those scissors-like enzymes that are supposed to keep us in balance with the viral intake, suddenly overwhelm the scissors.
同时，如果草⽢膦含量⾼，草⽢膦会破坏这种酶，⽽这种酶是制造剪⼑来剪断病毒的⼯具。
And simultaneous to that, if you have high glyphosate, the glyphosate is disrupting the very enzyme or the very proteins that would build the scissor system to clip it.
所以，世界上任何地⽅， 你只需要找出那些在⽔⾥和空⽓草⽢膦含量⾼的地区，再加上空⽓⾥⼤量碳颗粒污染物，这些地⽅的新冠死亡率⼀定很⾼。⽽这些新冠本来不会有什么问题，本来是可以和我们和平相处的。
So, everywhere around the world, you're going to look for high glyphosate residues in the air and water system combined with high particulate matter of carbon in the atmosphere. And you know you're going to get high mortality from a virus that should have never caused any harm because it should have been in balance with us.

现在⽤的最主要的⽅法是PCR：肺链反应。但这种测试本身有很多问题，他主要是寻找极少量的DNA。可是你身体⾥有这种DNA和你会不会有病没有任何关系。DAN会在很多⼈的⾎液⾥存在⼀段时间，完成基因更新，复制病毒，将它输⼊到⾜够的细胞，然后会达到⼀个体内平衡，然后就会停⽌复制。
The main testing tool is PCR: Pulmonary Chain Reaction. But the testing itself is very problematic. It depends on finding small amounts of DNA. But presence of the DNA has nothing to do with whether you will ever be sick from the virus. A lot of us have that DNA in our blood stream for a period of time, as we go through our genetic update, take the virus in, we proliferate it, get it in enough cells of our body, reach a homeostasis status, we’ll stop making it.
PCR的的假阳性率⾮常⾼。曾经有⼀个研究说可以⾼达80%，但研究被撤掉了，⼈们只引⽤了30%的假阴性率。
PCR has an extraordinary amount of false positives. One study put it at 80%, but it was pulled off, and only the false negative 30% was cited in the media.
你会觉得感染率⾮常⾼。你如果只是在测试有症状的⼈，你当然会找到病毒，感染率当然⾮常⾼。
It seems we have such a high rate of infected cases because if we are just testing sick people, of course you are going to find the virus there, and the rate would seem high.
疫苗
Vaccination
疫苗并不是每个⼈期望的万能药。抗体只是整个问题中很⼩的⼀部分。我们如何达到平衡状态和疫苗没有关系。
Vaccination is not the panacea everybody has expected. Antibodies are only a very small piece of the whole puzzle. How we reach balance has very little to do with antibodies.
我们没有办法消灭病毒基因信息，因为它没有⽣命。就像⾦属会通过⽣锈分解⼀样，病毒会通过氧化和腐蚀这样⼀个过程⽽⾃我解体。
We cannot eradicate viral genomic information, it’s not alive, so you cannot kill it. It needs to disassemble itself through oxidation or corrosion, same way the metal takes itself apart by rusting.
我们会在下12个⽉⾥达到这种平衡，有没有疫苗都会。就像⾮典和中东病毒那样，它们都经过了两个季节。新冠在明年6⽉份就会解体了。
We’ll reach a homeostasis state with the virus in the next 12 months, with or without the vaccine. Both SARS and MERS disappeared within 2 seasons. Covid will be too, by next June.

Every year in November, we say the flu season starts. But viruses are always there, they are there in October, they are in September. So why does November suddenly become flu season? Flu season is actually carbon toxicity season.

When we are in September and October, there is almost no carbon or methane in the air. There’s only 4% of the 100% of the carbon that we produce over those months left in the atmosphere. Because after the robust growing season, we've absorbed all of it through plant life and soil life pulling it down. Then we go into fall and between beginning of November and 3rd week of November, there is an explosion of co2, methane, and carbon particulates, because we suddenly lose that whole absorptive machinery of all the trees, and the greenery, and the soil, and it gets worse and worse until May. The viruses bind to these pollutions and toxins, clumping and creating artificial delivery system into people’s body. It is biologically not possible to have a viral pandemic every third week of November, yet, we pretend the flu seasons starts and it is caused by a virus.

We have made the mistake in the medical education in the last 100 years by focusing on stamping out diseases instead of building resilient health that is resistant to diseases. One example of it is over use of antibiotics.
⼀个疗程的抗⽣素可以让你以后12⽉⾥患上忧郁症的概率增加17%， 患上焦虑症的概率增加24%。两个疗程的抗⽣素，以后12⽉⾥患上忧郁症的概率增加44%， 焦虑症52%。
One course of antibiotics increase your risk of having depression in the next 12 months by 17%, having anxiety disorder by 24%, two courses of antibiotics increase the risk of depression by 44% and anxiety by 52%.
你看下美国每个州的抗⽣素处⽅率，和每个州的癌症⻛险率⼏乎⼀模⼀样。
If you look at the antibiotics prescription rate in each state, it is almost perfect correlated to the risk of cancer in that state.
我们作为个⼈该怎么保护⾃⼰？
What can we do as individuals?

Get in the sunshine, get close to nature, eat real food all the time. Build a resilient system.

Implications of the pandemic
就像我们曾经相信地球是宇宙的中⼼，我们现在错误地相信⼈类是⽣物的中⼼。我们不是。我们是⼗⼏亿年来⽣物发展的结果。
Just like we used to think the earth is the center of the universe, we still hold the belief that humans are the center of biology. In fact, we are not. We are the result of billions of years of biological progress.

We are destroying biodiversity in humans, in crops, in microorganisms. Each time we've increased the pressure on the microbiome in our effort to kill everything, the viruses had to express themselves more frequently because again, they are the machinery of adaptation. And so, when extinction starts to emerge, the viruses go into a very rapid proliferation of variety because they're looking for adaptive mechanisms to escape danger.

This pandemic is a just small ripple effect of what we are doing to the planet, it’s just the early tremor of the collapses of the species. We will continue to have pandemics and deaths if we don’t stop undermining our natural biological systems that make us have a homeostatic balance with nature.
我们如果什么都不做，8年当中我们会达到⼀个引爆点。⼈类在60年到80年就有可能完全灭绝。
We are reaching a tipping point in about 8 years in terms of climate change. We as humans will go extinct as soon as 60 to 80 years from now if nothing is changed.
